Haha.. Its sure great fun to plan and celebrate birthdays... We celebrated kc's quarter century birthday with her yesterday.. Thinking that Mr K would celebrate her birthday with her.. we decided not to touch the actual day but to celebrate a post one instead.. Only to find out from her yest that Mr K is too occupied with exams to celebrate it with her.. grr...
Anyway.. it was great fun as we celebrated her bday a Clarity rest - Seah Street.. (recommended by poor, sick winy).. (she was recovering and hence had no appetite for any food)..
Food wasnt fantastic.. just ok.. wouldnt recommend it for a second
time.. I ordered garlic baked chicken and it was too spicy.. The set that comes with a soup (bland and watery), a drink and a dessert (too sweet and mash) wasnt spectular either.. Even though the price was OK... at approx $15 per person.
Guess we are getting old or something.. A few hours out and we are back home in our own bedrooms. Meet ups these days is only for a meal and some short shopping and poof.. home we go.. We used to be able to shop from day to night and even end it up with a midnight movie.. where had all the energy gone to??
With KC's birthday over, the next will be Jeral's.. We are starting to tok about printing our own gal gang's publication featuring all the good ol times we had from Poly days till now to mark our quarter century age... sighz.. sounds so old... Yup yup.. And we are going to present one of this book to Jeral as part of her bday present for this year (since she is still unable to make up her mind..)
Can I also state that I want a food blender (one that can crush nuts, blend juice, make smoothies, etc) and if there are some cash to spare.. a recipe book featuring hawker delights that teach one how to cook boneless, shelless, fatless, easy, healthy food? =p
